An American couple from California sought a London base from which they could immerse themselves in the city’s vibrant rhythm while easily travelling throughout Europe — a long-held dream. They discovered their ideal pied-à-terre within an elegant Art Deco mansion block in one of London’s most distinguished neighbourhoods.

Studio LPID was commissioned to design and oversee the project in its entirety — a full refurbishment encompassing an open-plan living, kitchen, and dining space, along with two bedrooms and two bathrooms.

The brief called for a modern, refined apartment with a focus on minimal yet bold detailing, seamlessly integrated with state-of-the-art home technology for lighting, sound, heating, and security. The result is a sophisticated retreat that combines contemporary comfort with timeless design, perfectly tailored to the clients’ lifestyle.
