This residential project is defined by clear, linear geometries and a restrained but contrasting material palette. The plan is conceived with a sense of openness, where spaces flow into one another with minimal interruption, evoking a loft-like atmosphere while maintaining moments of subtle separation through material shifts and built-in volumes.
Bold combinations of colour and material punctuate this clarity. Blues, soft pinks, and warm metallics sit alongside natural timber and matte blacks, creating a carefully considered tension between vibrancy and restraint. Surfaces and objects are integrated into these compositions, allowing the richness of texture and tone to emerge without overwhelming the architectural order.
A brushed metallic surface introduces a soft, diffused luminosity, set against matte cabinetry with clean, uninterrupted lines. Timber volumes act as vertical anchors, framing views and integrating storage, while occasionally revealing colour and depth within. Surfaces alternate between smooth and granular finishes, each responding differently to light and subtly enhancing the sense of tactility throughout the interior.
Daylight is allowed to enter gently, moving across planes and brushing surfaces, its quality shifting with the hours of the day. Rather than creating dramatic highlights, it accentuates textures, softens edges, and quietly reveals the layers of colour and material, lending the interior a sense of calm vitality.
The result is a calm, tactile interior where linear form, material richness, and carefully balanced colour coexist in understated dialogue.
